One of the most relaxing ways of viewing its many attractions is to have your own comfortable accommodation within walking distance of the centre. This is precisely what is offered at Silvermills Apartment, part of a high quality and peaceful new development just 10 minutes walk from Princes Street.

Set in a quiet, landscaped cul-de-sac with no passing traffic, the second floor luxury apartment offers bright and hugely convenient accommodation for 5 people. There is garaging for one (not-too-large) vehicle and a secure entry phone system; the double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room; the sitting room has a living flame electric fire for instant warmth and atmosphere with none of the bother of a coal fire, and there is a very well-equipped kitchen-dining room.

Visitors will find a wealth of world-class restaurants in the area. Otherwise there are excellent all-night shops within a five minute walk if you prefer to eat in. If you come by public transport and leave the car at home (never a bad idea in Edinburgh), buses constantly pass the end of the road and will whisk you up to Princes Street in a few minutes.

The attractions of Edinburgh - its castle, Holyrood Palace, New Town, Royal Mile, Botanic Gardens, newly redeveloped port area at Leith and all its theatres, art galleries and entertainments, are too well-known to require a mention here. Suffice it to say that Silvermills is as good as it gets for visiting them all and coming back to peace and comfort at the end of a busy day!

Bed linen and towels are included. The first £10 of fuel is included. Sorry, no pets or smokers, and the apartment is not suitable for children under 8.
