Dallas is a large beautiful private country estate covering some 9,000 acres of heathery hills, woods, moor - and farmland, lying in that fertile area neighbouring Inverness, warmed by the Gulf Stream, where the Grampian Mountains flatten down gradually into the long sandy beaches and secluded rocky coves of the coast of the Moray Firth.
Tucked away within the Dallas Estate, about 7 miles from Forres and 10 miles from Elgin, are two comfortable and cosy traditional stone cottages and one substantial farmhouse - modernised, but still with log-fires - where you can combine a wonderfully relaxed country holiday with the pleasures of an unspoilt coast only 20 minutes drive away.
The houses are all within a short distance of fishing (permits available); and none more than 1.5 miles from Dallas village. Visitors can walk for miles in relaxed surroundings over the estate; golf on numerous courses, and, with a car, visit a host of interesting places nearby such as Culloden, Cawdor Castle, Inverness, all the small fishing villages along the coast or the Whisky Distilleries that proliferate along the River Spey. Further afield, Loch Ness and Fort William, Ullapool, the famous gardens at Inverewe - even Skye for a couple of hours - can be visited. Inverness and Aberdeen airports are 40 and 90 minutes away respectively, and car hire is available.

Woodbank Cottage (Sleeps 4)
Woodbank Cottage stands detached, an old stone house backed by a small enclosed garden and wood.
Heating is by open fire and electricity (metered). Bed linen and towels are available for hire. Pets under control are welcome.
Downstairs:
- Sitting room with open-fire and satelite TV (basic channels), DVD. Telephone.
- Kitchen/Dining room with washing-machine, electric-cooker, tumble drier, fridge-freezer and microwave, etc.
- Bathroom with bath, shower, WC and basin.
Upstairs:
- Double-bed room.
- Twin-bedroom.
Woodbank Cottage:
Mulundy Lodge (Sleeps 5)
Mulundy Lodge is set amongst rhododendrons, heather, bracken and trees just inside the back drive to Dallas House - a turreted former gate-lodge with small grass garden.
Heating is by open fire and oil central heating (metered). Bed-linen and towels are available for hire. Pets under control are welcome.
Single-storey:

- Kitchen/Dining room with washing-machine, electric-cooker, microwave, fridge, etc.
- Bathroom with bath, shower, WC and basin.

Mulundy Lodge:
Firwood (sleeps 7/8)
Firwood is a comfortable, spacious farmhouse, standing detached in a peaceful situation with woods behind and fine open views to the front.
Heating is by open-fire, electric and oil-central heating. Electricity and oil 
included during blue price band (other periods by meter reading). Bed-linen and towels are included. Pets under control are welcome.
Downstairs:

- Dining room.
- Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, etc. Shower/WC/Utility with washing machine and tumble drier.
